What was the highlight of Traville Huts Palm Beach Inn
Good cost/value and nice staff.
Traville Huts is as close as you can get if you are looking for an authentic raw island accomodation feel without totally striping all the necessities i.e. shower, comfy bed, clean room etc... It has access to the beach and if you hire a motorbike/scooter (can be hired at Traville Huts for Pesos 500 per day) you can easily explore everything in the area such as Alona Beach, Danao Town, South Palm Beach etc... But it is also on walking distance should you prefer. The owner is very friendly and accomodating which brings a personal touch. I highly recommend this place if your planning to spend most of the day out exploring and just need a place to rest and sleep. Breakfast included.

Loved the staff who made our stay here worth while
The staff here were great, the young woman who works the reception was very personable and helped us organize motorbike rental and a boat excursion
Beds and sheets were nice and clean but rooms overall could have been cleaner, especially for the price

Very Basic Accommodation, ideal if on a budget in Bohol
Free bottle of water upon arrival. The staff were nice and helpful. The location at first was a bit far from Alona beach, a motorbike is essential otherwise will cost you every time you want to go to the main strip. Very quite at night!
No Aircon. The shower was not powerful. Walking to the main town is not an option as down a long dark road.

NOT GREAT BUT AT LEAST NOT VERY POOR!
The receptionist and the entire staff (family) at least tried to be friendly and accommodating especially Mary. They've surprised us with a whisky, flowers and chocolates last Valentines Day which was cool as we never expected it. Every time they serves our breakfast meal, they tend to give us more than the usual serving. Thanks's for that!
There's plenty to improve on especially that the management has just assumed ownership on the resort. Facilities wise, they should make sure that renovation to be done on each room as there were roof leaks, unstable air-conditioned units, unfunctional kitchenette and other stuff important to the comfort of guests; Amenities wise, the management should invest on hot shower, table and chairs inside the room, kettle and other basic kitchen utensils for the kitchenette, air-con units, hair dryers and the like because the cost of each room does not compensate the amenities available yet; Service like, I think they should do some research and training in handling resort or managing it. They still lack knowledge on this aspect a lot but I believe that they can do more and they have the potential to meet guest's expectations in the future. Garden and overall surrounding is cool and good if attended properly.
